6ME Medical Check Up for Maids/ Helpers/ Foreign Domestic Workers (FDW) available at all Nofrills Clinics islandwide.

Medical examinations requiring chest x-ray can be completed one-stop at selected Nofrills Clinics in Orchard, Changi Airport and Jurong.

Results will be submitted to Ministry of Manpower (MOM) within 48 hours, or within 24 hours with our express option.

What to Expect

1. Book your appointment

Book your preferred date, time and location real time with instant confirmation

2. Get your 6ME Medical Check-up done

Please ensure your helper arrives punctually with the Work Permit (physical card) or In-Principle Approval Form and 6ME Medical Examination Form. The check up will be completed in 30-45 minutes.

3. Receive your Results

Our clinic will submit the 6ME Medical Check Up form and lab results to MOM on your behalf, typically within 48 hours. You will then receive an SMS with the submission reference number.

4. Await Results

Check the results through the MOM Employer portal within 2 working weeks of the check-up

6ME Medical Check Up

What forms of payment do you accept?

Our available modes of payment are: NETS, VISA/MASTER Card, GrabPay, SGQR. We do not accept cash.

How do I know which tests is applicable for my maid’s upcoming 6ME Medical Check Up?

The 6ME letter that MOM sends to you will state the tests that your maid is required to do.

In general, these are the tests required:

Pregnancy and VDRL- every 6 months
HIV- every 2 years
TB- Once, upon 2 years of stay in Singapore
Checks on Body Mass Index (BMI) and visible signs of abuse

What do I need to bring for the 6ME Medical Check Up?

Please bring along your maid’s Work Permit (physical card) or In-Principle Approval Form and 6ME Medical Examination Form.

What if my maid fails the 6ME Medical Check Up?

If your maid does not pass the 6ME check-up, the work permit must be cancelled and the maid must be sent home immediately.

How long does the 6ME Medical Check Up take?

During our clinic non-peak hours, the 6ME Medical Check-Up is expected to take between 30-45 minutes.

Should I make an appointment for the medical check up?

It is preferred that you make an appointment so that we can serve you promptly. You may also choose to walk-in but it may be subject to waiting time.

Can I request a hard copy of the results?

Yes, we can prepare a hard copy of the results with our clinic stamp on request at no extra charge.

What if I want to do my medical examination that requires a chest x-ray at a Nofrills Clinic without chest x-ray facility?

We can complete the examination and have you visit our other Nofrills clinics with x-ray facilities located at Orchard, Changi Airport and Jurong at the specified fee inclusive of chest x-ray.

Alternatively, you can opt to complete the medical examination at that clinic and be referred to a x-ray center nearby. You will then pay the medical examination fee (without chest x-ray) at Nofrills clinic, and pay separately the x-ray charge at the outsourced center. You will then be requested to return to the Minmed clinic with the x-ray results so that we can complete the endorsement of the medical examination form.
